A new recording of Gabriel Fauré’s beautiful Berceuse Op 16 for violin and piano is now available from Sounds Visual Music as a free download for registered broadcast producers and editors.
‘Berceuse’ is French for cradle song, and this Op 16 work by Fauré (1845-1924) was composed in 1879 just a couple of years after the success of his first violin sonata.
Take a listen below – violinist, Jonathan Slatter.
