The information we collect
We keep a minimum of information to enable us to carry out our business with you, normally a name, job title, email address and contact number as well as the details of any downloaded audio products. For any invoicing purposes we also usually retain a geographical address as well.
Cookies
Our website uses cookies to collect information from visitors and members. This includes information about products downloaded, pages viewed and the customer journey around our website.
How we use your information
We use your details to enable us to carry out any work you have requested from us, to follow up with any administrative or invoicing queries, and to carry out our legal obligations to maintain financial information.
We may occasionally send you an email newsletter, on the grounds of legitimate interest, to let you know about any periods of unavailability (holidays, illness), anything new that may help you conduct your business with us (such as new music releases), or particular projects or events that may be of interest.
We use the bulk email provider ‘Mailchimp’ to carry out this task on our behalf and they collect information such as email opening and click statistics using standard industry technologies, and this helps us to monitor and improve our newsletter. You can read the Mailchimp privacy policy here:
We do not pass on any personal information to third parties unless obligated to for legal or contractual reasons.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of any of our newsletters or by contacting Jonathan Slatter by email.
Registered Online Website Member Accounts
Member accounts are maintained to allow our subscribers to audition and download music and sound effects. The personal information collected when opening an account is used to confirm and manage your membership account and to provide information regarding company updates on the basis of legitimate interest.
